Leader in Community Projects


Since starting operations in 2007, EG LNG has implemented social projects in all seven provinces of Equatorial Guinea, focusing on education, health, culture and agriculture.

Water Projects


EG LNG has drilled and put to service nearly thirty five (35) water wells that are currently providing water to families all over Equatorial Guinea.

 

   

 


 Education Projects


Since 2007, EG LNG has constructed ten (10) new primaries schools in communities across the country and has rehabilitated the major infrastructure of two secondary schools in the country''s capital Malabo, and one in Ebibeyin, the country’s third largest city. 

  


EG LNG has built computer laboratories in most public secondary schools in the country, helping kids to learn the basic application of Microsoft software and uses of the internet.   

   




One of the most recent examples of education projects was the construction of a primary school on the island of Annobon which was inaugurated in 2016.  

Another recent educational project was the construction of a primary school in the village of Ekonowon, Bata. The Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons, H.E. Gabriel Obiang Lima, presided over the opening ceremony in 2016.

 

   

The Train the Trainer  IT course is designed to teach public school teachers Microsoft Office skills. Seventeen (17) teachers have obtained the Train the Trainer certification.

 



 


 
Health Projects


In 2013, EG LNG completed one its most significant health projects yet. Centro de Salud is a medical center in the country‘s capital Malabo. The Ministry of Health of Equatorial Guinea is running the Centro de Salud, providing health services to nearly 2,000 families.
