Development Programs

At EG LNG we pride ourselves on our People Development reputation. The motivation to evolve and develop new approaches to knowledge transfer and skill development is evident in our employees.

Our employees navigate a development system that includes strong technical foundations along with soft skill enhancement at three levels:  Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced. Learning is delivered through a blended system of classroom, on the job, computer based and practical application. Our goal is to appeal to a wide variety of learning styles, maximizing the potential of our diverse workforce at EG LNG.

To ensure that EG LNG maintains a world-class reputation, our programs are benchmarked internationally with accreditation though the Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) and the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning (ITOL). EG LNG remains the only approved center for ILM and ITOL qualifications in sub-Saharan Africa.

In addition to the ITOL and ILM training programs, at EG LNG we administer our own training programs for our Maintenance Technicians (Technician 1, Technician 2, Technician 3, Qualified Technician) and LNG Operators (Operator 1, Operator 2, Operator 3, Operator 4, Panelman).
